4-3-8.[F]:Flash Adjustment

<<Preparation>>
Please prepare the gray chart beforehand when you exe-

cute the flash adjustment.
<<Setting for adjustment>>
Please refer to setting in a right picture for the flash ad-
justment and 16p.
<<Attention>>
The flash adjustment receives the influence by the out-
side light easily, and darken the gray chart surrounding
as much as possible to reduce the influence by the out-

side light, please.
Preparations for Flash Adjustment
<Step1>
[F] is selected from the adjustment item select screen
(Figure 3). (=[F] of the keyboard of PC is pressed.)
--->The [Flash adjustment start screen(Figure 19)] dis-
plays.
<Step2>
The following things are prepared according to the con-
tent of the display of [Flash adjustment starting screen].
1) The gray chart is prepared from the front of the lens of
the camera at the position of 1m.
2) The influence of the outside light is reduced.
When the preparation is completed, Enter key of PC is
pressed.
--->The Flash adjustment is executed.(figure 20)
--->When the adjustment ends normally, data is written
in Flash_ROM.
--->The [AF adjustment end screen (figure 21)] dis-
plays for the Flash adjustment to end normally.

<Step3>
After pressing the [Enter key], the system returns to the
Adjustment Items Select Screen.
Proceed with any other necessary adjustments.Always
select [E]:End Setting to complete adjustment
(see P27/28 for details).
