4. Adjustment and Inspection

4-3-6.[P]:Picture adjustment

(shutter adjustment/CCD sensitivity adjustment/offset ad-
justment/6dB_UP adjustment/white balance adjustment)
<<Preparation>>
Please prepare the LB140 filter and the pattern box (all
white) beforehand when you execute the CCD defect cor-
rection.
<<Setting for adjustment>>
Please refer for the Picture adjustment to the setting of
right figure and 15p.
<Step1>
[P] is selected from the adjustment item select screen
(Figure 3). (=[P] of the keyboard of PC is pressed.)
--->The [Iput of wide angle side data of zoom
lens(Figure 13)] displays.
<<Step2><Importance>>
In step2, the adjustment method is different depend-
ing on the content of the repair.
(Case 1)
If LENS ASSY is exchanged, and the Picture adjustment is
done, the numerical value of [three digits(Figure 13-(1))]
of parts and bundled bar code labels is input.
(Case 2)
When the Picture adjustment excluding the LENS ASSY
exchange, [ 138 (Figure 13-(1))] is input.
* A right picture displays the case of case 2.
When data is input, the OK button is clicked.(Figure 13-(2))
--->LENS is initialized.(Please wait for about ten seconds.)
--->The [Picture adjustment start screen(Figure 14)]
displays.
<Step3>
The following things are prepared according to the con-
tent of the display of the Picture adjustment start screen.
1) The pattern box (all white) is set.
2) Filter (LB140) is not set.
When the preparation is completed, Enter key of PC is
pressed.
--->The adjustment with the filter and the adjustment
without the filter are alternately done at the following.
Keep the adjustment according to the instruction of PC.
--->When the adjustment ends normally, data is written
in Flash_ROM.
--->The [Picture adjustment end screen(Figure 15)]
displays.
<Step5>
After pressing the [Enter key], the system returns to the
Adjustment Items Select Screen.
Proceed with any other necessary adjustments.Always
select [E]:End Setting to complete adjustment
(see P27/28 for details).
