Setup Menu
Organization and Levels
On this camcorder, settings for shooting and
playback are made in the setup menu, which
appears in the viewfinder.
The setup menu can also be displayed on an
external video monitor (see page 145).

Setup Menu Organization

The setup menu consists of the following menus.
Op: OPERATION menu
Settings related to shooting, except settings
related to picture quality (see page 100)
Pa: PAINT menu
Settings related to picture quality (see page 113)
Th: THUMBNAIL menu
Settings related to clip thumbnails (see page 85)
Note
The THUMBNAIL menu is used only when a thumbnail
screen (see page 80) is displayed. It is disabled when no
thumbnail screen is displayed.
Ma: MAINTENANCE menu
Settings related to audio and timecode (see
page 119)
Fi: FILE menu
Settings related to file operations (see page 132)
