Connecting devices
USB ports
You can connect any desired device equipped with USB (Universal Serial Bus) to a USB port. USB
components can be connected or disconnected during operation.
A symbol is provided on the plugs of USB cables that usually faces upward during
i
connection.
If you use the USB ports on the front of the system unit, the symbol on the plug must face
downward.
Connecting the keyboard
The PC is either supplied with an office keyboard or with a cableless radio keyboard.
Office keyboard

Connect the keyboard to the lower USB port on the back of the unit.
Radio keyboard
Ê
Connect the radio receiver for the radio keyboard to the lower USB port on the back of the unit.
Connecting the mouse
Ê
Connect the mouse to a free USB port (e. g. to the office keyboard).
Connecting additional devices with a USB interface
Additional devices with a USB interface can be connected to the other USB ports, e. g. a printer or
scanner.

Connect the data cable to the external device.
Ê
Connect the data cable of the external device to a free USB port on the system unit.
