9.5.4 Reassembly sequence for "replacing steering head bearings /
steering fork
•
Remove the steering column (chapter: 9.2.3 page: 18).
•
Remove the steering fork and replace the steering head bearings.
Locknut (1, size 32 mm)
adjusting nut (2, size 32 mm)

Always use a suitable striking tool for inserting the bearing shells

Reassembly sequence for "replacing the wheel bearing"

•
Remove the steering wheel
Hex bolts (size 13 mm) / nuts (size 13 mm).
•
Split the wheel rim. Allen key bolt (size 4 mm).
•
Remove the wheel bearing with suitable tools.
•
Always use a suitable striking tool for inserting the wheel bearings.
Note:
•
Only tap the wheel bearing into the wheel rim so far that it is flush with the rim edge.
