240 VOLT SINGLE PHASE OPERATION

The 120/240 volt, dual-voltage motor supplied with
your machine was shipped prepared for 120 volt
operation. It can be converted for 240 volt operation.
For conversion from 120 volt to 240 volt, please call
ahead to DELTA Customer Care at 1-800-223-7278.
Use the following instructions to convert your saw to
240 volts
To reduce the risk of injury, turn the
machine off and disconnect machine
from power source before installing and removing
accessories, before adjusting or changing set-ups or
when making repairs. An accidental start-up can
cause injury.
1. Remove 4 screws (A) Fig 38 and remove rear panel
(B).
2. Remove 2 screws (C) and remove plastic cover (D).
3. Slide switch (E) from 120v to 240v position.
4. Replace cover (D) and 2 screws (C).
5. Replace rear cover B and 4 screws (A).
6. The 120 volt power cord plug must also be replaced
with a UL/CSA listed plug suitable for 240 Volts 15
AMPS.
Either use a qualified electrician to do the conversion or
take the machine to an Authorized Service Center. The
machine must conform to the National Electric Code
and all local codes and ordinances.
Use the 240 volt plug ONLY in an outlet that has the
same configuration as the plug Illustrated on page 8,
Fig. C. DO NOT use an adapter with the 240 volt plug.
In all cases, make certain that the
receptacle in question is properly
grounded. If you are not sure, have a qualified
electrician check the receptacle.
