CHECKING THE HANDLEBAR

1. Check:
• handlebar
Do not attempt to straighten a bent handle-
bar as this may dangerously weaken it.
2. Install:
• handlebar grip

INSTALLING THE STEERING HEAD

1. Lubricate:
• upper bearing
• lower bearing
• bearing races
2. Install:
• lower bracket
• lower ring nut
• rubber washer
• center ring nut
• lock washer
• upper ring nut
NOTE:
Tighten the ring nuts to specification torque
and according to process.
