Backing Up Within a Menu
To go back to the previous screen:
Touch .
To return to the Home screen:
Touch .

Screen Overview

Screen Lock
The display screen will automatically lock to prevent accidental
activation after the time specified for the screen timeout. (See
"Changing the Backlight Time Length" on page 34.)
Unlocking the Display Screen
Press , , or the trackball, and drag the Unlock
icon( ) to the right side of the screen.
Note:
When an unlock pattern is set for the device, you will be
required to draw the set pattern instead. See "Your Device's
Unlock Pattern Feature" on page 41.
Locking the Display Screen Manually
Press . The backlight turns off.
Home Screen Overview
The Home screen is the
starting point for all
applications. You can
access applications, view
call notifications and battery
or connection status.
