NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 11.7.
DO NOT attempt to stop a moving wheelchair with the wheel locks. WHEEL
LOCKS ARE NOT BRAKES.
NOTE: The Tracer SX5 Recliner with 24-inch rear wheels uses the disk wheel locks. Refer to
Using/Adjusting Disk Wheel Locks on page 47.
1. Ensure the wheelchair is not moving before engaging the wheel locks.
2. To engage, push the wheel lock handle forward.
3. Disengage the wheel locks by reversing STEP 2.
