Terms you should know
Mute
A fixed key used to listen to a call without transmitting.
Navigation keys
Keys used to scroll through menus and lists appearing on the
LCD display screen.
Off-Hook
The term off-hook is applied whether (a) the end user lifts up the
handset, (b) the end user presses a line key, (c) the call is
automatically answered at the telephone, or (d) a line is
automatically selected for an outgoing call.
Parked Call
An active call you park on the server or to another user that can
be retrieved from another phone.
Presence
A feature that you use to set a presence state to be displayed to
other users.
Quit key
A fixed key you use to exit an active menu
Ringback/ring tone
A sound indicating that a call you have made is ringing at its
destination.
Shift/Outbox
A fixed key you use to connect to your Call Outbox.
