EDID (Extended Display Identification Data)

EDID is a communications protocol or instruction set for the
identification of display devices to computers using the DDC (Display
Data Channel) transmission standard. EDID information consists of
the resolution, refresh rate, and pixel clock information of a display
device.
You can apply an EDID to a selected input by selecting one of the
following categories of EDID files, shown in the
next
page.
The EDID of the display connected to an output (numbers 1
through the number of outputs on your DXP)
One of 28 factory-loaded EDID files (numbers 9 through 36)
One of the four user-defined files, to which you have assigned
your own EDID values (numbers 37 through 40)
