Playback Controls
The playback controls are located at the bottom of the playback interface. They
operate in the same manner as those found on the DVR's playback interface (see
"Playback" on page 37).

To remove a fi le from the playlist,
highlight it and click the
button.

button removes a fi les from the
playback list.

Remember: After making changes to the settings press/click the APPLY button.
The Toolbar
You can choose to open either
individual FILES or an entire
FOLDER worth of fi les at once.
The
button will allow you
to open a folder full of fi les
as a single playlist. Typically,
this will be in a folder called
RecordFile located on the fl ash
drive you used to backup footage.
To open single fi les, choose
You'll need to locate the fi les using
a standard fi le browser (below), and
then simply highlight the fi les you
want and choose OPEN.

Preparing a USB Flash Drive
Most, but not all, USB fl ash drives are
compatible with the DVR.
The fl ash drive will have to be
formatted with the correct fi le
structure, which is FAT32. This can be
done via a compatible computer, or
you can have the DVR itself format
the USB fl ash drive.
To format your USB fl ash drive:
Insert the fl ash drive into the USB
slot on the rear of the DVR.
Open the Main Menu, select
Device Management, then select
HDD Management.

Choose the FORMAT USB option.
The process will take a few
moments, depending on the size
of the USB fl ash drive.
Remember: After making changes to the settings press/click the APPLY button.

Be sure there's no data you want to keep on
the USB fl ash drive when you format it, as
the formatting process removes all data.
