Connecting with Wi-Fi Direct™

Your HERO 4.2 All-in-One Printer can be set up to host a Wi-Fi Direct network so
you can connect mobile devices and computers* without using a router.
With Wi-Fi Direct, your printer works as an access point so you can:
• print from your mobile device using KODAK Pic Flick App.
• print or scan from your computer with WINDOWS OS or MAC OS (with the
necessary drivers installed).
• access the Online Printer Management Tool.
For best results, use your device within 30 m / 100 ft of your printer. Check
IMPORTANT:
that there are no obstructions between your device and printer.
Wi-Fi Direct does not have Internet access. For full printer functionality,
your printer to your wireless network (see
page
9). Your printer can be connected to your wireless network and have Wi-Fi
Direct enabled at the same time.

You can connect up to four devices.

An Internet connection is required for these features: Google Cloud Print™, KODAK Email Print
Service, scan to email, and scan to network folder.
