9 SERVICE PROCEDURES
Excelerator Series
1. Install washer and ball bearing housing onto fork assembly.
2. Slide fork assembly through the opening in the front frame (Goose
Neck).
3. Install ball bearings onto the fork assembly.
4. Place the locknut over the fork assembly and tighten.
5. Tighten the setscrews.
 The tension spring is NOT intended to keep the
handcycle straight when pedaling but to keep the
handcycle from leaning excessively to one side or
another.
6. Tighten the eyebolts onto the fork assembly and front frame.
 Tension is applied by lossening or tightening the eye
bolts. This should be done before installation of the
tension spring.
7. Using a medium flat screwdriver, hook the tension spring to the
fork assembly and front frame eye bolts.
