DIAGNOSTIC TESTS

DIAGNOSTICS STATE 1

This test indicates that all keys on the Display are responding properly.
Pressing keys in this state verifies and displays a value in each 7-segment display.

Press PROGRAM SELECT key to display 'A'

Press ' * ' key to display ' * '

Press 1 key to display '1'
q
Press 2 key to display '2'
q
Press 3 key to display '3'
q
Press 4 key to display '4'

Press 5 key to display '5'

Press 6 key to display '6'

Press 7 key to display '7'

START key - no response
Press PAUSE/RESET to exit and reset system to user Display or press ENTER to proceed to Diagnostics State 2.

DIAGNOSTICS STATE 2

This test indicates that all LED's on the Display are working properly.
Upon entry the system will beep and begin walking a column of the 8 X 8 matrix from left to right.
When the rightmost column has been lit, a row of the 8 X 8 matrix will walk from bottom to top.
Next a single segment in all of the 7 - segment displays will animate through the digits.
Next, an '8' will be walked through each 7 - segment display.
Finally, a single led will scroll across the LED's labeled CAL/HR, MILES, TOTAL CALORIES, TIME, HR,
LEVEL, HILL, RANDOM, MANUAL, HEART RATE, RACE, FIT TEST, and ENTER KEY.
At the conclusion of this sequence a beep is sounded and the sequence repeats again.
Diagnostics State 3 can be entered by pressing the 'ENTER' key or Diagnostics State 1 can be returned to by
pressing the 'PAUSE/RESET' key. All other keys will have no effect.
