4. PRE-OPERATION CHECKS
For safe and efficient mowing, always make a pre-operation inspection
before operating:

To prevent accidental start-up, remove the engine switch key,
and disconnect the spark plug cap before performing the pre-operation
inspection.
CAUTION:

Inspect with the Lawn Tractor on level ground.

Pull the parking brake fully up, set the shift lever in "N (Neutral)" and the
P.T.O. lever in the "OFF" position
before inspecting.
1. Check the air intake screen
Remove grass and dirt from both right and left side SCREENS to prevent the
engine from overheating.
