Preparation for storage.
The following steps should be taken to protect the tractor whenever it will
be stored for longer than 30 days.
1. Siphon all gasoline from the fuel tank into a suitable gasoline container

Do not drain the fuel tank when the exhaust system is hot.
Disconnect the spark plug cap, and turn the engine switch to the ON posi-
tion to activate the fuel pump.
Loosen the carburetor drain screw, and drain the fuel into a suitable gasoline
container.
After draining, turn the engine switch OFF and tighten the drain screw
securely.

Gasoline is extremely flammable and is explosive under certain
conditions. Do not smoke or allow flames or sparks in the area.
