Notes:
• The Floating Hold feature assigns a Floating Hold number (001-576) to a
specific FF key. By placing a call on hold using the Floating Hold key, you
can retrieve the call from any phone that has an FF key that is assigned the
same Floating Hold number or by simply entering the Floating Hold number.
• Floating Hold requires system programming.
• The EXT indicator flashes when you hold an internal call or an outside line
that is not assigned to an FF key.
• If you do not pick up a held call in a certain period of time, you will hear a
tone indicating that the call is still waiting.
To place a call on hold
While on a call, press the HOLD key or the Floating Hold FF key.

To use Broker's Hold and toggle between two calls
While on a call, press the HOLD key to put the first call on hold.

Press the FF key that is flashing green to answer the second call.
2.
Press the HOLD key to put the second call on hold.
3.
Press the FF key that is flashing green to return to the first call.
4.
To retrieve a call placed on hold, do one of the following:
To retrieve a call . . .
From the extension that placed
the call on hold
From a different extension
than the one that placed the
call on hold
From Floating Hold (also
known as System Park Pick
Up)

Press the FF key that is flashing green.
OR
Press the HOLD key (if no FF key is flashing).
Press the FF key that is flashing red.
a. Press the Floating Hold FF key.
OR
a. Enter the Floating Hold Answer code (default
= *9).
b. Enter the Floating Hold number for the held
call (001-576).
