Password for the Printer

When connected to a network, you can set a password for your printer from
the KM-NET Remote Operation Panel. If a password is set, you must enter
the correct password in order to change settings from the KM-NET Remote
Operation Panel. However, you can print without entering the password.
A password can be an ASCII character string of up to 15 characters and is
case-sensitive. The space character is not allowed as part of the password.

Click the MENU button on the start-up screen.

The Menu dialog box appears. Select and double click Security, then
click Printer password.

Click the Password button. The Password settings dialog box
appears.
