Test values for pause
Here you determine whether, and if relevant, the
conditions under which it will be allowed for the
user to open the door during a wash program, for
example to take samples of the water.
The following conditions must be fulfilled before it
will be possible to open the door:
• The user must have pressed Pause.
• The water level must not exceed the level
parameter you have programmed as PAUSE
TEST LEVEL.
• The temperature must not exceed the
temperature you have programmed as PAUSE
TEST TEMPERATURE.
If one or both of the parameters above is set at 0,
this function will be disabled and it will not be
possible to open the door during the wash
program.
Temperature hysteresis
Here you determine a default value for the
machine's temperature hysteresis.
The temperature hysteresis can be programmed
individually for each wash program. However,
under certain circumstances, e.g. when the user
has set the temperature manually, the PCU may
not be able to find the temperature hysteresis
values in the current wash program. That is when
it needs to use the default value stored here.
What is temperature hysteresis?
Once the drum has filled with water to the right
level, it is heated to the wash temperature you
have programmed. During the wash the water
will cool down somewhat.
When the water temperature has reached a
lower limit, heating restarts and the water
temperature is brought back up to the correct
level.
Temperature hysteresis is the number of
degrees between the wash temperature and the
temperature at which heating needs to restart.
