Changing Paper Size, Type, and Color

When Trays 1–4 are set to Allow Change mode, you can change paper settings each time you load the
tray. When you close the tray, the control panel prompts you to change the tray settings for paper size,
type, and color.
When Trays 1–4 are set to No Attribute Change mode, the prompt to change the tray settings does not
appear. The printer uses the paper guide settings to determine the paper size, and the current control
panel settings for the type and color of paper.
When you load paper into the Bypass Tray, the control panel prompts you to change the tray settings.
No Attribute Change mode does not affect Bypass Tray paper size, type, and color behavior.
