Installing or Removing
Cartridges
Install or remove cartridges using the following
procedure:

Press the OPEN button of the IN/OUT port.
The door opens.

Pull out the magazine.
Note
Gently pull the magazine out so that no shock is
applied to the cartridges.
After pulling out the magazine, be careful not to
direct the slot opening side (for installing/removing
cartridges) downward. If any shock is applied with
the slots facing downward, the cartridges may fall
out.

Load or remove cartridges.
To load a cartridge, put a cartridge in the magazine
so that its bar code can be read and the side with
character indication, such as "SONY," faces the
direction shown in the figure below.

Return the magazine to the port.
Note
Gently push the magazine so that no shock is
applied to the cartridges.

Close the door.
Note
Gently close the door so that no shock is applied to
the cartridges.
