SYNCHRONIZING THE CARBURETORS
3. Remove:
S hose 1
4. Install:
S vacuum gauge attachments
(into the bolt holes)
S vacuum gauge 1
(onto the vacuum gauge attachments)
S engine tachometer 2
(onto the ignition coil of cylinder #1)

5. Start the engine and let it warm up for several
minutes.
6. Measure:
S engine idling speed
Out of specification ! Adjust.
Refer to "ADJUSTING THE ENGINE ID-
LING SPEED".

7. Adjust:
S carburetor synchronization
a. Synchronize carburetor #1 to carburetor #2
by turning the synchronizing screw 1 in ei-
ther direction until both gauges read the
same.
