CARBURETORS
7. Check:
S piston valve 1
Damage/scratches/wear! Replace.
S piston valve diaphragm 2
Cracks/tears ! Replace.
8. Check:
S vacuum chamber cover 1
S piston valve spring 2
S jet needle holder 3
Cracks/damage ! Replace.
9. Check:
S jet needle kit 1
S main jet 2
S main jet holder 3
S pilot jet 4
S pilot screw 5
S starter plunger 6
Bends/damage/wear ! Replace.
Obstruction ! Clean.
Blow out the jets with compressed air.
10. Check:
S piston valve movement
Insert the piston valve into the carburetor
body and move it up and down.
Tightness ! Replace the piston valve.
11. Check:
S fuel feed pipes 1
S pipes 2
S hose joint 3
Cracks/damage ! Replace.
Obstruction ! Clean.
Blow out the pipes with compressed air.
