Text message to PABXs

u
You can only receive an SMS if the Call-
ing Line Identification is forwarded to
the extension of the PABX (CLIP). The
CLIP evaluation of the number of the
SMS centre happens in your Gigaset.
u
You may have to prefix the access code
to the number of the SMS centre
(depending on your PABX). You can
store the access code in your base sta-
tion.
If in doubt, test your PABX e.g. by send-
ing a text message to your own
number: once with and once without
the access code.
u
When you send messages, your sender
number may be sent without your
extension number. The recipient can-
not reply to you directly in this case.
Sending and receiving text messages on
ISDN PABXs is only possible via the MSN
number assigned to your base station.
