To Manually Adjust the Audio
Recording Level
The unit adjusts the recording level automatically to prevent sound
distortion due to excessive peaks.
You can adjust manually the audio recording level.
[1] Before recording, keep pressing
[AUDIO] for 3 or more seconds.
To adjust the left (L) and right (R) channels simultaneously:
[2] Confirm that "L/R" is selected and use
[2, 1] to adjust the audio recording
level.
[3] Press [ENTER] to exit the On Screen
Display.
To adjust the left (L) and right (R) channels individually:
[2] Use [3, 4] to select either the left (L)
or right (R) channel and individually
adjust their audio recording level with
[2, 1].
Example:

[3] Press [ENTER] to exit the On Screen
Display.
For your reference
≥It is not possible to adjust the audio recording level when
recording from DV equipment.

Remote Setting

Panasonic DVD players and recorders use the same remote
control system so they may respond unintentionally to a command
from this remote control. Change the code on this unit and its
remote control (the two must match) if you place equipment close
together.
≥Use "1", the factory set code, under normal circumstances.

While stopped
Press [FUNCTIONS].
[2] Select "SETUP" with [3, 4, 2, 1] and
press [ENTER].
≥The SETUP screen appears.
[3] Select "Settings" tab with [3, 4] and
press [2] or [1].
[4] Select "Remote" with [3, 4] and
press [ENTER].
[5] Select "DVD 1", "DVD 2" or "DVD 3"
with [3, 4] and press [ENTER].
The remote control code on the unit has been set.
[6] While pressing [ENTER] on the remote
control, press the numeric buttons
([1], [2], or [3]) corresponding to the
code you selected in step 5.
The remote control code on the remote control has been set.
[7] Press [RETURN].
The following display appears when you use a remote control with
a different code.
If you are trying to use this unit's remote control, change its code to
match the unit's (# step 6).
