•When using a DHCP server, check that the DHCP server starts up.
•Inquire with the network administrator about the IP address, net mask and gateway.
Function
Change if necessary when using a DHCP server etc.
Turn the DHCP item ON when automatically obtaining
IP addresses using a DHCP server. Turn it OFF when
not using a DHCP server.
Input an IP address when not using a DHCP server.
Input the net mask when not using a DHCP server.
Input a gateway address when not using a DHCP server.
This displays the unique media access control (MAC)
address of the network equipment. This may be
necessary when using a DHCP server.
