Select whether to scan one side of the document or both sides.

Touch [Scan Settings] in the Scan mode screen.

Touch [Simplex/Duplex].

Scans both sides of the document.
Scans the first page of the document as a single-sided cover
page, then scans the remaining pages as double-sided.
