Before Using the Scanning Features
LDAP Search
You can acquire the information meeting the search requirements entered on
the control panel from the data base in the LDAP server.
You can also select the acquired E-mail address and transmit and register
the data.
0 Contact your administrator for each setting of LDAP Search.

Press [Search] on the Select Destina-
tion/Storage Location screen.

Press the [LDAP Search] key.

When the dynamic authentication
has been set to ON, enter the [Login
Name] and [Password].
– Contact your administrator for
the dynamic authentication.

Press the [Single Search] or [Ad-
vanced Search] key.
– Single Search
Enter one keyword and search.
Data beginning with the keyword
input for the [Name], [E-Mail], [Family Name] and [First Name] is
searched.
– Advanced Search
– A keyword can be respectively specified for the [Name], [E-Mail],
[Family Name] and [First Name].
[OR], [AND], [Begins With], or [Ends With] can be set up as the
search condition.
