Installing Poster Maker paper

Caution
Before installing paper in the printer, be sure you have
thoroughly read the information in "Proper use of the
printer" on page 1-7.
If the printer is on, be sure the Ready indicator is lit.
Then turn the power switch off.
Power

Push up on the open/close release. Carefully lift the
cover until it comes to rest in the open position.

Install the left paper bracket according to the width of
the paper you are going to use.
See "Installing the left paper bracket" on page 3-3.

Insert the paper roll into the left and right paper
brackets. Be sure to insert the roll so the end of the

paper comes out from underneath the roll, as shown

Pull out and align the paper.
Pull out approximately 8" (200 mm) of paper to
remove any slack, using the paper set mark on the
right as a guide. Align the paper to the guide marks on
both the left and right.

Close the cover by pressing down on BOTH SIDES
until it locks into place.
Press
Turn the printer's power switch on.
When the Ready indicator is lit, press [Cut] to cut the
excess paper.

Caution
Do not touch the cutter or lift the paper upward during
the cutting operation. This could result in injury to
yourself or damage to the system.
