CARING FOR YOUR InDuo™

• Your InDuo™ is a precision
instrument. To ensure it works
accurately and safely, please handle it
with care.
• Avoid situations where your InDuo™
component parts, can be damaged.
• Store InDuo™ in its carrying case
after each use.
• Always replace the meter cap after
using your InDuo™ insulin doser.
• Please read the package insert in the
Penfill
pack. This will tell you how to
®
store Penfill
cartridges and how long
®
to keep them.
• With Penfill
inserted, store your
®
InDuo™ at room temperature (up to
25°C (77°F)). Follow the guidelines on
insulin storage supplied in the
Penfill
package insert.
®
• Do not refrigerate your InDuo™
• As no blood or control solution
comes in contact with the meter,
there is no special cleaning required.
• Take care to avoid getting dirt, dust,
blood, control solution, or water
inside the InDuo™ through the test
port or data port.
• Clean off dirt and dust with a dry,
soft brush or cloth.
• A cloth dampened with water and
mild detergent can be used to wipe
down the outside of the meter.
• Do not soak InDuo™, wash it or
lubricate it. This will damage the
mechanism.
• InDuo™ is a precision instrument and
will be damaged if wiped with
alcohol.
