Alarm Operation - Jensen JIMS-285 Owner's Manual

A. ALARM CLOCK SETTING
This function allows the system to turn on automatically and wake you up by
CD/RADIO(TUNER)/iPod (ALARM 1) or buzz sound (ALARM 2) respectively.
1. In standby mode, press the ALARM 1 button on the main unit to enter the setting mode, the first
two digits of clock will flashing.
2. Press the FUNCTION button repeatedly to select wake up source - CD, Tuner or iPod.
3. Press the VOLUME + or – button to preset the wake up alarm volume level.
4. Press the

confirm.
6. Press the ALARM 2 button to set wake to buzz alarm or dual alarm.
7. Repeat steps 4-5 by using ALARM 2 button to set desired buzz alarm clock.
NOTE:
The system provides dual alarm settings so you can preset another wake up time individually

by using the ALARM 2 button. Alarm 2 mode provides only the buzzer sound with a preset
volume.
2. If "Wake to CD" or "Wake to iPod" is selected but your iPod not been docked or a CD is not
inserted, the alarm source will default to the Alarm Buzzer automatically when the alarm
wake time is reached.
3. For 'Wake to Radio", the system will default to the last radio station listened to before switching
off.
B. ENABLE/DISABLE ALARM FUNCTION
1. Disable the cancel alarm function by pressing ALARM 1 button again until the alarm indicator
" " goes off.
2. Enable the ALARM 1 function by pressing ALARM 1 button repeatedly until the alarm indicator
" " is shown on LCD display.
3. Follow the same operation to enable / disable ALARM 2 function.
Wake to Alarm Buzzer

. You may activate the snooze function manually after the alarm sounds by pressing the SNOOZE
button. The buzzer stops for the snooze time (10 minutes) then comes again. The snooze
operation can be repeated again
• To stop the alarm immediately after the buzzer sounds, press the ALARM 2 button once. It resets
itself for the following day.
. To cancel the following day alarm, press the ALARM 2 button once again, ALARM 2 indicator
will go off.
