    INSTALLATION FOR TABLE TOP USE The stand is attached to the main unit for table top use as figure 1a below. You can also attach the speaker boxes to the main unit as figure 1b shown below.     REPLACING THE REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY 1. Turn over the remote control, and remove the battery door. 2. Install 1 “CR2032” lithium battery according to the polarity diagram on the battery compartment. 3. Replace the battery door. CLOCK SETTING NOTE: The clock is flashing and has to be set the first time you plug the unit in. You will need to reset the clock if the unit is disconnected from the main power or if there is a power outage or interruption.
  • Page 13 To receive a weak (noisy) FM station, press the ST/MO button to switch the FM mode to “MONO”. The reception may be improved, but the sound is now monaural (MONO). Note: 1. When listening to an FM program, fully extend the Wire Antenna to insure maximum tuner sensitivity.

    5. After all the desired tracks have been programmed, press the MEM CLK-ADJ button repeatedly to review the tracks which have been programmed. 6. Press the CD PLAY/PAUSE button to play the tracks in your programmed order. 7. Press the CD stop button to stop program play.

    ALARM OPERATION A. ALARM CLOCK SETTING This function allows the system to turn on automatically and wake you up by CD/RADIO(TUNER)/iPod (ALARM 1) or buzz sound (ALARM 2) respectively. 1. In standby mode, press the ALARM 1 button on the main unit to enter the setting mode, the first two digits of clock will flashing.

    Wake to Radio / CD / iPod • When the alarm time is reached, the selected alarm source Radio, CD or iPod will automatically turn “ON” and play for 60 minutes then shut off and reset itself for the following day (without pressing the snooze button).

    Note: (1) If you connected the Line Out Jack of your external device then you only need to adjust the volume control of this system. If you connected the Headphone Jack of your external device then you may need to adjust both the volume control of your external device and the volume control of this system to find the most desirable volume setting.

    CLEANING THE UNIT To prevent fire or shock hazard, disconnect your unit from the AC power source when cleaning. The finish on the unit may be cleaned with a dust cloth and cared for as other furniture, Use caution when cleaning and wiping the plastic parts. If the cabinet becomes dusty wipe it with a soft dry dust cloth.
