1. For best results,
start with a clean,
slightly damp mus-
tache.
2. Comb through your mustache
in the direction it grows.
3. Place the wide 5-position comb
over the facial hair blade and snap
it into position. It is a good idea to start with the
longest trim setting adjustment. (You can always go
back and cut your mustache more closely with a
shorter setting.)

4. After your mustache has been
trimmed to the desired length,
remove the 5-position comb and,
using the blades only, define the out-
line of the bottom of your mustache.
5. Use the scribe blade for fine detailing and hair art.

Your trimmer includes a shaving foil. When attached,
it will allow you to shave close and around your facial
hair to provide an extra clean look. Just move the
shaving head in an up and down gentle stroke to
remove any stray hairs. Be sure not to press to hard,
as that could cause some skin irritation.
After each use clean the shaving head as follows:1.
Make sure the appliance off.2. Remove the shaver
head from the unit.3. Remove the foil head from the
shaving head (press the two buttons on either side of
the shaving head and pull the foil head away).4. Use
the cleaning brush to gently remove any hairs from the
cutter and shaving head.

To remove blade set from your trimmer,
make sure the trimmer is in the OFF posi-
tion. Remove the blade set by
placing thumb against the smaller
cutter and pushing forward, releas-
ing the cutter assembly from the
trimmer housing. Replace with
new cutting system and reverse
the removal procedure, only this time place
your thumb on the large cutter and snap
into place. Make sure the taper control is set to
the longest #1 position.

1. Using a small Phillips head screwdriver, remove the
screws at the back of the trimmer.
2. Remove the bottom housing and push the batteries
out. Bring the batteries to the nearest collection centre
for proper disposal. DO NOT throw the batteries into
the normal municipal waste system.

1. To insert battery, remove compartment cover
by pulling straight down. Insert one AA alkaline
battery, negative end up as indicated in Fig.
1. (Alkaline batteries will insure the best per-
formance and longest life for your appliance.)
If you are not going to use the unit for a long
period of time, or if the battery is dead, remove
the battery from the unit. This will increase the
life of your trimmer.
2. After inserting the battery, replace the
battery compartment.
3. Now your unit is ready to be used.
4. Always purchase the correct size and grade of
battery most suitable for the intended use.
5. Replace all batteries of a set at the same time.
6. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the
device prior to battery installation.
7. Ensure the batteries are installed correctly with
regard to polarity (+ and -).
8. Remove batteries from equipment which is not
to be used for an extended
period of time.
9. Remove used batteries
promptly.
