This permits fine video settings to be made. (Operate while the image that you would like to adjust or set is being
projected.)

Phase Control

This performs an adjustment when there is a screen color shift or flicker. Usu-
ally, an automatic adjustment is performed at the time of source input detec-
tion; however, when automatic adjustment is not satisfactory, please adjust
as described below.
Align the cursor with the
cursor buttons (◀▶).
While viewing the screen, adjust so that the color shift or flicker no longer
stands out.

This adjusts the definition when an input signal is adjusted to the resolution of
this projector and an enlarged or reduced display is produced.

What is phase?
Phase indicates the timing of the video signal. When a shift
occurs in the timing of the video signal between the equip-
ment that outputs the video and the projector, a color shift or
flicker will be produced. By adjusting the timing with

in the projector, proper video can be projected.
