An infant seat is used in rear–facing
position only.

Do not put a rear–facing child re-
straint system on the third seat if
it interferes with the lock mecha-
nism of the second seats. This can
cause severe injury to the child and
passengers sitting in second seats
in case of sudden braking or a col-
lision.

Fix both seats at Fix both seat backs

When installing a child restraint
system in the third seat center
position, adjust both seats to the
same position and seatbacks to the
same angle. Otherwise, the child re-
straint system can not be securely
restrained and this may cause seri-
ous injuries in a collision.
