5.1 Overview

The System section shows you how to configure system related settings, such as
save configuration, authentication, SNMP configuration, firmware update, backup/
restore, and restart the system.

5.1.1 What You Can Do

• Use the Save config screen to save your current configuration to Flash ROM
(Section 5.2 on page
• Use the Authentication screen to edit, add, or delete user accounts
5.3 on page
• Use the SNMP Config screen to configure SNMP settings such as SNMP
communities and SNMP trap communities
• Use the Prompt screen to configure the prompt name which will be shown in
the CLI prompt
• Use the Firmware Update screen to upload firmware to your device
5.6 on page
• Use the Backup/Restore screen to backup and restore device configurations
(Section 5.7 on page
• Use the Restart screen to restart your ZyXEL device. You can also reset your
device settings back to the factory default

5.2 The Save Config Screen

You can save your current configuration to Flash ROM.
Click the System > Save config screen. Click the Save button to save your
current configuration in the P-794H. After a few seconds, the configuration is
