Read this section if your computer is not operating properly. Since some problems
may be caused by the software application(s) being run, you should also refer to the
software manuals. If you are ultimately unable to correct the problem(s), contact
your nearest Panasonic Service Center.
Make sure the AC adaptor is connected and there are no loose connections.
For portable use, make sure the battery pack is sufficiently charged.
Make sure the computer operates normally after it has been restarted by pressing
the reset button.
If the low power consumption function has caused the display to dim, pressing
the space bar will restore it.
You may have inadvertently set an external display in the Setup program.
Contact your nearest Panasonic Service Center. Remember, try not to forget it.
Pressing

Run "Load Default Settings (PnP)" in the Setup utility.
This will restore the Setup utility's settings to their default values (except the password
settings), then the Setup utility must be run once again for you to input the appropriate
operating environment settings. (The processing speed depends on the application soft-
ware used, so this operation may not cause the processing speed to increase.)
Use [Control Panel] in Windows 95 or the DATE and TIME commands in the MS-
DOS to set the date/time to their proper values. If problems persist, contact your
nearest Panasonic Service Center.
The clock battery (lithium battery) may be running low on power. Contact your
nearest Panasonic Service Center.
If you are running the computer off the battery pack, the battery may be out of
power. Connect the AC adaptor.
The battery level is low. Connect the AC adaptor or replace the battery pack with
a fully charged one.
The battery temperature has risen due to the electrical discharge caused by a large
load. Connect the AC adaptor to reduce the load on the battery by turning off the
power to the PD/CD drive, or the like.
