A PD cartridge can have files written to and read from it, like a floppy disk or a hard disk,
and is capable of storing a large quantity of data. The computer is supplied with one PD
cartridge. The PD cartridge must first be formatted before it can be used.
(part number: CF-VSR650 (For the U.S.), LM-R650A (For Canada), LM-R650E (For the U.K.))
CAUTION
The write protect switch is used
to prevent data on a PD cartridge
from being erased or overwritten
accidentally.

High-level formatting is possible in Windows 95.

The PD/CD drive is also capable of playing standard 12 cm (5 inch) CD-ROM discs;
data, music and photo CDs.
MEMO
If a CD gets dirty, after wiping the CD with a moist,
soft cloth, wipe it with a dry cloth. Always wipe from
the center toward the edge.

To insert (or remove) a CD into (from) the caddy, from the
back of the caddy lift the cover with one finger.

When you do not use the caddy,
please set the caddy in the case.
