You can customize your phone so that you can distinguish different parties by
ring type.
This feature is local to the phone, and may be overridden by your organization's
settings. For more information, contact your system administrator.
To set a distinctive ring type for a contact:
Press

Select Features > Contact Directory.

Scroll to highlight the contact.

You can also use the * key to page up and the # key to page down.
Press the Edit soft key, and then scroll down to the Ring Type field.

Press the Left and Right arrows to select the Ring Type.

Press the Save soft key.

You can customize your phone so that incoming calls from a particular party
are immediately sent to your voice mail.
Calls on shared lines can only be silenced, they cannot be rejected.
