CYLINDER AND PISTON
CYLINDRE ET PISTON
Cylinder
1. Lubricate:
• Piston
• Piston ring
• Cylinder
NOTE:
Apply a liberal coating of engine oil.
2. Install:
• Dowel pin 1
• O-ring 2
New
NOTE:
Apply the lithium soap base grease
on the O-ring.
3. Install:
• Cylinder gasket 1
• Cylinder 2
NOTE:
Install the cylinder with one hand
while compressing the piston rings
with the other hand.
CAUTION:
• Pass the timing
through the timing chain cavity.
• Be careful not to damage the
timing chain guide 4 during
installation.
4. Install:
• Bolt (cylinder) 5
10 Nm (1.0 m · kg, 7.2 ft · lb)

Cylindre
1. Lubrifier:
• Piston
• Segment de piston
• Cylindre
N.B.:
Appliquer une bonne couche d'huile
moteur.
2. Monter:
• Goujon 1
• Joint torique 2
N.B.:
Enduire le joint torique de graisse à base
de savon au lithium.
3. Monter:
• Joint de cylindre 1
New
• Cylindre 2
N.B.:
Installer le cylindre d'une main tout en
comprimant les segments de l'autre
main.
ATTENTION:

chain • Faire passer la chaîne de distribu-
tion 3 par la cavité prévue à cet
effet.
• Veiller à ne pas endommager
l'amortisseur de la chaîne de distri-
bution 4 lors de l'installation.
4. Monter:
• Boulon (cylindre) 5
