IOPn.MtcScsiP status: Unable to write one or more sectors SECTORn – SECTORm for DISKn. Note: the write
request did not come from the CEs.

Description
HP NetServer AA SCSI software executing on the IOPs issues background write requests to
disks that are redirected to the CEs. These writes are usually the result of mirror copy activity,
and are not related to CE write requests. A write error of this type will cause a mirror copy to
halt. However, unless the disk is a mirror copy target, the disk will remain online and available
to the CEs. Mirror copy targets will transition from online to offline if write errors are
encountered during a mirror copy.
Action
If the write error occurred in the target disk during a mirror copy, the target disk may need
replacement.
• Try restarting the mirror copy by enabling the target disk. If the mirror copy completes
