IOPn.MtcScsiP status: DISKn does not have a bootable partition. Use Disk Administrator in Offline HP NetServer AA
I/O Processor Mode to mark the desired boot partition as active. The disk will be kept offline until it contains a
partition marked as bootable.

Severity
Error
Description
HP NetServer AA SCSI software detected an HP NetServer AA configured boot disk, but the
boot disk did not have a bootable partition.
Action
• Reboot the IOP into Offline HP NetServer AA I/O Processor Mode.
• Use Disk Administrator to mark the desired boot partition active.
• Reboot the IOP into Operational HP NetServer AA I/O Processor Mode.
IOPn.MtcScsiP status: DISKn does not support automatic bad block remapping for recoverable read requests.
Variables
n – the disk number; for example, DISK0, DISK1, DISK2
Severity
Informational
Description
The disk does not support automatic bad block remapping for read requests. Hence, if the disk
encounters a bad block during a read request, the disk will not automatically remap the bad
block. Instead, the read would fail, and software would request a bad block remap.
Action
No action is required.
IOPn.MtcScsiP status: DISKn does not support automatic bad block remapping for write requests.
Variables
n – the disk number; for example, DISK0, DISK1, DISK2
Severity
Informational
Description
The disk does not support automatic bad block remapping for write requests. Hence, if the disk
encounters a bad block during a write request, the disk will not automatically remap the bad
block and then write the data to the remapped sector. Instead, the write would fail, and software
would request a bad block remap followed by the write request that originally failed.
Action
No action is required.
