State Meaning
Off Port is not in pass-through mode.
On Port is in pass-through mode.
Off Port is not enabled by software.
On Port is enabled by software, and there is a valid
SONET signal without any alarms.
On Port is enabled by software, and there is at least
one alarm.
Flashing Port is enabled by software, and there is a side
mismatch.
Off Port is not wrapped or steering.
On A node on the ring is wrapped.
Flashing A node on the ring is steering.
On Port is locally wrapped.
Flashing Port is locally steering.
Off Port is not enabled by software.
On Port is enabled by software, and loopback is off.
On Port is enabled by software, and loopback is on.
