Ignition System Check
1.
Removethespark plugand reattachitto thespark pluglead.

Turnignitionkeyto the"RUN" position. Slidethe enginestopswitch
to the "Run" position. Pushtheelectricbutton"START"(grey button).
If the ignitionsystemis operatingproperly,a bluesparkshouldjump
acrossthesparkplug gap. If there is no spark,takeyour machineto your
servicecenter.
Performing the sparktest improperlycouldbe hazardous.
Youcouldgeta highvoltage electrical s hockifyou arenotfamiliar with
thisprocedure.
Do not perform this checkif you are notfamiliar with the procedure.
Do not pointthe sparkplug near thesparkplug holeduringthis test.
Do not do thistest ifyou havea heart conditionor weara pacemaker.
Do not perform this test is any nearany openfuel containers for near
fuel whichhasspilledon the ground,on the engine,or any partof the
Scooter.
COMPLAINT:Enginestalls
1.
Makesurethere is enoughfuel in thefuel tank.
2.
Checkto see thatthespark plug is notfouled. Removethe sparkplug
and cleanit. Replaceit, ifnecessary.
3.
Makesurethefuel valve is not clogged, a nd the fuel tank is not clogged,
either.
4.
Checkthe idlespeed. If necessary, adjustit usinga tachometer.The
correctidlespeed is 1400~1600 r/rain.
5. Makesure theair filter is clean.
