Yourscooterusesa sealed,maintenance free leadacid batteryrated 12V3AH.The
batteryis locatedunderneath the floorboard.
• Chargingnewbatteries:Fill the batterywith theacid in thepre-packed bottles
and allowto restfor 30 minutespriorto sealingthe battery.After sealing,charge
the batteryusinga low currentcharge(0.5V-1A for 6 hours.)
• Rechargingbatteries:Forbest results,chargethe batteryat a low current(see
above).You canfast chargethe batteryat 2Afor up to 1 hour.Youmay usea
tricklecharger(<0.5A)to keepthe batterychargedif you useyourscooter
infrequently or for shorttrips.You canattacha tricklechargerfor up to oneweek.
BATTERY ACIDIS EXTREMELY CORROSIVE. ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES
AND EYEPROTECTION WHENHANDLING ACID.IF YOUR SKINOR
EYECONTACT THEACID,IMMEDIATELY FLUSHWITHWATERFOR
