Ignition switch
The main ignitionswitchcontainsthreepositions:
• ON (1):The enginecanstart, thekey
cannotbe removed.
• OFF (2):This positionshutsoff theengineand
allowsyou to removethe key.
• LOCK(3): Fromthe OFFposition,pushinward
and turnthe key counterclockwise t othe LOCK
positionwhileturningthe steeringcolumntothe left and
shakingit lightlyto engagethesteeringlock.
Removekey.
Brake Levers and Throttle

Rearbrake (4):Whenstoppingthe scooter, s queezethe rearbrake
smoothly and firmly. Alwaysengagethe rearbrakefirst.
Frontbrake(5): Squeezethe levergentlyat first to avoidlockingthe
front wheel.Mostof you stoppingpowercomesfrom the front wheel,
whichshouldalwaysbe usedto supplement t he rearwheel.
WARNING!USEEXTREMECAUTIONWHENENGAGING
THE FRONTBRAKETOAVOIDLOCKING THE FRONT
WHEEL.LOCKINGTHE FRONTWHEELCANCAUSEA
SERIOUS ACCIDENT.
Throttlegrip (6):The rotarythrottlegrip is on the right handlebar.
Accelerateby rotatingthe throttletowardsyou.Gentlyapplythe
throttleto avoidenginefrom stalling.Deceleratebyrotatingthe
throttleawayfrom you.The throttleincludesa safetyspringthat
snapsthethrottlebackto idlewhen released.
