Storage Procedure
If you do not useyour scooterfor a longtime, it will needspecialservicerequiring
appropriate materials,equipmentandskill. Forthis reason,we recommend that
you trustthis maintenance work to yourauthorizedservicecenter. Ifyou wish to
servicethe machinefor storageyourself,follow the generalguidelinesbelow:
VEHICLE
Placethevehicleon levelgroundandwashthe entirevehicle.
FUEL
Drain the fuel from the fuel tank by a hand pump. Drainthe fuel from the
carburetor by releasing the carburetor drain screw.
Drainingthe fuel couldbe hazardous.
Fuelcouldcatchfire ifyou do not handleit properly.
Whendraining thefuel from thefuel tank,besureto shuttheengineoff.
Donotsmoke, a nd never drainfuel in an areawherethereareopenflames
or sparks.Keeppetsandchildren awayfrom thefuel, anddispose ofthe
drained fuel properly.

Inflatetires to the normalpressure.
EXTERNAL

Sprayall vinyland rubberpartswith rubberprotection.
2.
Sprayunpainted metalsurfaceswith rust preventative.
3.
Coatpaintedand plasticsurfaces with carwax.
PROCEDURE FOR RETURNING TO SERVICE
1.
Cleanthe entirevehicle.
2.
Makesurethat thevehicleis properlylubricated.
3.
Performthe INSPECTION BEFORERIDINGas listedin this manual.
4.
Startthevehicleas outlinedin this manual.
