Chapter 4 Remote Node Configuration
4-6
Description
The Idle Timeout specifies the number of idle seconds that elapses
before the remote node is automatically disconnected. The idle
timer is reset whenever there is data traffic from the Prestige;
however, administrative packets such as RIP are not counted as
data. The default is 300 seconds (5 minutes).
The idle timeout mechanism is disabled if the value is set to 0, i.e.,
the connection will stay up indefinitely.
