This function is used to help prevent any accidental operation
of the transceiver.
To lock the transceiver keys, press and hold the key
programmed as Key Lock for 1 second.

You can continue to use the following programmable functions
and/or keys (if available): Auxiliary (orange) key, Key Lock,
Side 1 key, Side 2 key, PTT switch, and Power switch/ Volume
control.
To unlock the keys, press and hold the Key Lock key again
for 1 second.

IRECT
You can set a frequently used channel within a zone as your
home channel, for easy access. Likewise, you can set up to 4
additional frequently used channels as direct channels, for
easy access. To set up a channel:
1 Select a frequently used channel.
2 Press and hold the key programmed as Home CH/GID or
Direct CH/GID (1 ~ 4) for approximately 3 seconds to
store the channel in memory.
A beep sounds when the channel is stored.
To use the Home CH/GID key, press the key to jump to the
programmed channel. You can press this key a second time
to return to the previous channel you were using.
To use a Direct CH/GID key, press the key to jump to the
programmed channel.
Pressing this key a second time will not return you to the previous
channel you were using.
